Nivesh Mitra - Facility for entrepreneurs Launched

The Nivesh Mitra (investment friend) - online single window clearances facility for entrepreneurs was launched on 6 July 2009 in Uttar Pradesh . Nivesh Mitra aims at easing the process of setting up of enterprises in the State by using advance internet based technology. This web-enabled software will facilitate the faster issuance of various approvals to the applicants desirous of setting up an enterprise in UP. Instead of entrepreneur visiting multiple departments, handling clearances, the new system of single window will speed up the process in a transparent manner.

The new website (http://niveshmitra.up.nic.in/) has the facility for online submission and updating of all forms required for various approvals by the entrepreneurs. The software developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) with active participation of Udyog Bandhu, would also generate a unique reference number of the proposal automatically after an application has been submitted for various approvals consequent to registration of entrepreneur on the website. In its pilot stage, Nivesh Mitra has been launched in 18 districts of Uttar Pradesh, namely - Lucknow, Lakhimpur, Mathura Rampur, Jyotiba Phule Nagar, Moradabad, Gautambudh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Barabanki, Kanpur, Unnao, Kheri, Kushinagar, Hathras, Aligarh, Agra, Fatehpur, Gonda and Ghazipur.
