CIIE plan to hold road show for iaccelerator

A four-month-long camp organized by Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), iAccelerator '09 is hoping to bring out nine internet and mobile-based technologies. For this, the centre plans to host a road show for nine participants in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune in August-end. iAccelerator '09 a camp for startups working on internet and mobile-based technologies. During the road show, participants will get a chance to give a demo of their technology to venture capitalists, inventors, advisors and prospective partners. The whole purpose of this demo day is to give them support through the whole process of starting out with an idea to finally pitching it to an investor and raising funds, said Aditi Gupta from CIIE. iAccelerator is a competition where participants come in with an idea and stay at the centre to develop the product. It is a full-time residential camp where the centre helps the participants with guidance and support to start out.The third iAccelerator programme is being conducted at Bangalore and not at IIM-A campus.
