Their convergence products (it + telecom) encompassing many sectors under one umbrella has made them immensely popular. Their retail sales are conducted through 3 stores in Nashik and 1 each in Pune and Nagpur. Currently they are -“Seeking PE/ VC support (funds + mentoring) we have a business plan ready for scaling upto 100 crores…”
Entrepreneurship was something that found Kishor when his family’s business was in dire straits. With no money or financial backing, he had a trying time while setting up his business. He eventually won out but not before investing a lot of his sweat. He credits “Hardwork, perseverance, and faith” for his rise, and says “adversity drove me to become an entrepreneur. Now love drives me further...”
Kishor looks back on his beginning and wishes for a different start. He admits “starting in a small town ( Nashik) . Had I started in a bigger town / metro I would have had the opportunity to grow even bigger.”
An unnamed benefactor helped Kishor on his path to achieving his dreams. He acknowledges this and says “One well wisher gave some money in starting (50,000) as support after looking at my entrepreneurship”
Since then Kishor’s entrepreneurial acumen has seen him to the top of the pile and Digilog has grown upto 15 crores in the last 18 yrs. Digilog group has 6 branches with a total team of 50+ employees.
The biggest feather in their cap has been their successful collaboration with principal companies like Samsung, Nokia, TVSE, and Sify.
Of late though, the economic recession has been taking their toll on Kishor. He has been thinking of a job and says “Lately yes… Especially when our business is in recession and comparable friends in services are taking home more money than me.... But small glitches.”
However, the day he takes up a job as opposed to entrepreneurship is still far away thanks to “Hope… and belief that all hardwork, experience gained in last 18 yrs with culminate with one good work /company at National level.”
All Kishor has to say at the end of the day is “Keep going...” as he carries on his entrepreneurial trek to reach the peak of his mountain.
Yourstory is sure that the competent and veteran Kishor will win the day yet again and carry forward with his dreams.
