Basically we call ourselves Reputation Management specialists and the company’s tag line is “Proficient in Reputation Management. This all comes with a total of 5 years of experience in the field of Communications, Media,
IT and Insurance. We understand the basic communication challenges and provide solutions accordingly to the clients, whether it’s related to Public Relations, Advertising, Events, BTL Activity and… very known these days Digital Communication Management.”
Undoubtedly there are many takers for Manoj’s wares, and he says “Scope is very wide, whether in India or in the World, everyone wants to manage and reflect a positive reputation. Whiz Consulting plays a vital role in suggesting proper answers to every question of a client and giving them industry related solutions. Almost everyone can benefit from our service whether it’s a company or an individual.”
Their business model is exceedingly simple; they are a group of Consultants who started this business. Their core practice area is Public Relations, and Advertising. Their retainer clients complete the basic needs of overheads and profits. Their simplicity of function is their greatest strength.
Manoj believes that entrepreneurs are born and perhaps made too. He says “Well you can say it’s is in my blood, my father is also a businessman and I have seen him… the way he does business, I learnt a lot from him and know how to manage a show. So somewhere from the first job I decided that I’ll do something on my own which can fulfill my identity of a self made man.”
“After working in various agencies for so long, we decided to start on our own as we all are capable enough to provide service to a client and there is no limitation of work in the agency. We all can do whatever in we are specialized in.”
Entrepreneurship has been to his liking and its various tests have been but the fire that tempers the best steel. He says “Being a fresher in the industry itself is the greatest challenge. But we have shown our capability to our clients through our credentials. All our clients are quite impressed with and have given us repeat work. We also don’t charge very high like other agencies do, which is another challenge but an achievement for us.”
Till date they have two reputed clients from the life style sector which is a source of pride to Whiz Consulting. Manoj adds “To start a consultancy firm, you must have at least Rs.5 Lac to set up all the things, in this amount our hardcore income is involved and some we have taken as a loan from a bank.”
He also favors the pros and cons of entrepreneurship over all else. He says “Well when you are in service you don’t deal with anything, just collect a salary on the 7th of every month and stay happy, but in entrepreneurship you are on the other side of the table where so many responsibilities are on your shoulders, and have to deal with all of them whether you want or don’t want. And I am a person who loves to be responsible for every success as well as failures.”
In the coming years they want to manage more brands from lifestyle, education, real estate and technology sectors which are their core areas. The shift to business may have surprised some who know Manoj, for he was better known as an artist. He reminisces “I am an artistic person so won a lot of awards in Art Competitions in school days, and I have also achieved so much in my rewards in my service time for overachieving my targets.”
Manoj declared his philosophy in life and entrepreneurship hoping it would guide others saying “Well believe in yourself and start it like I do.”
