Get software, Get support, Get visibility - Your Story has signed on as a Network Partner in an exciting new program called Microsoft® BizSpark™.

Dear YourStory Members,

  • Get software

  • Get support

  • Get visibility

Your Story has signed on as a Network Partner in an exciting new program called Microsoft® BizSpark™. It’s specifically designed to help us put promising technology startups like yours on an even faster track to success.

Through BizSpark, we can now offer you fast, easy access to current, full-featured Microsoft development tools and platform technologies, as well as production licenses to develop and bring innovative and interoperable solutions to market. The program can also provide you with global visibility to potential clients, investors, and partners. All you need to do is join. It only takes a few minutes, you get almost instant access to the software, and your only obligation is to pay Microsoft a small fee (USD$100) due at the end of the three years (or end of participation in the program). It’s a fantastic deal that we’re very excited to offer.

To qualify for BizSpark, your start-up must be:

ü Actively engaged in development of a software-based product or service that will form a core piece of its current or intended business[1],

ü Privately held

ü In business for less than 3 years[2], and

ü Generating less than USD $1 million in annual revenue

To be eligible to use the software for production and deployment of hosted solutions, start-ups must also be developing a new "software as a service" solution (on any platform) to be delivered over the Internet.

[1] Start-ups cannot be in the business of providing services to others such as hosting, web agency, system integration or outsourced development.

[2] Start-ups who are actively engaged in software development but have not yet completed the formalities of establishing a business are also eligible for entry into BizSpark.

If you are in the business of developing a software-based product or service while at the same time providing services to others you are in fact eligible, but can only use the BizSpark licences for product development.

To join BizSpark you’ll need sponsorship from a Network Partner. We’d be delighted to sponsor you and help accelerate your success. Please log onto http://www.microsoft.com/bizspark/ and learn how get started. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.

I look forward to talking and working with you.

Thanks & Regards,

Shradha Sharma
