Camlin Etches a Permanent Mark on Japan

January 25, 2010, Mumbai: The Japanese have always been known for their technology, management and more so their innovation. However, this time, India has etched a permanent mark on them.

Camlin T.V. Commercial (Rudali fame with Bindi) for their permanent marker has been selected as the World’s Greatest Commercial by NTV, Japan’s biggest television network.

Camlin Ltd, the largest art and stationery brand in India, is a household name in India reputed for a wide range of high quality products. Exe. Director Mr. Shriram Dandekar, Camlin Ltd. Says “We would like to dedicate this success to all our customers and business partners, without whom this would not have been possible.”

This comes as a very important event in the history of the Indian ad industry, as this recognition is a proof that Indian’s have the potential to produce some of the very best campaigns, which can cut across all the cultures of the world. The credit for this goes to the creative team of Lowe- Lintas for creating this award winning commercial for Camlin.

The commercial will be broadcasted in Japan on February 15, 2010 across 31 stations of NTV
