Seminar on credit Guarantee scheme, Imphal

A seminar on Credit Guarantee Scheme, Credit Rating and North East Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy 2007, was held at Hotel Classic, North AOC, Imphal.The seminar which was organized by All Manipur Entrepreneurs Associations Manipur under the sponsorship of Micro Small and Medium Entrepreneur (MSME) Government of India, Credit Guarantee Fund, Trust for MSME and Onicra Credit Rating Agency of India New Delhi and the Banking official of Enterprises. Seminar was inaugurated by Thongju A/C MLA, Bijoy Koijam, who attend during the function as chief guest, in the present of V. Touthnag Additional Director Commerce and Industry, as guest of Honour and S. Rishikumar President All Manipur Entrepreneurs Associations as the functional president.

While delivering his chief guest speech during the inaugural function of the seminar, MLA, Bijoy Koijam, maintained that people living in the state today are not willing to be a guarantor or loanees owing to the habit of not returning loan by the loanee and as well as the delay in giving loans to loanee by the concerned banks or others privates firms. However the MLA expressed his appreciation that despite the mentioned problems some entrepreneurs are doing their job sincerely keeping alive the spirit of the hard working and sincerely people. S. Rishikumar, in his speech said that state industrial growth is the growth of state economy system and its development adding lack of knowledge of financial management, supports on implementations of any scheme entrepreneur here are finding hard to get good opportunity making their concern firms or institute underdeveloped. Development could be brought about in these sectors only if the concerned Government sanctions enough budget and development infrastructure which could also lead to a radical change in the state. Better cooperation between entrepreneurs and banking institutions can ameliorate the economy of the State. For lack of perseverance and knowledge, many entrepreneurs of the State could not capitalise on the various schemes launched for them.
