Intel AppUp Center Beta Version

Thursday February 11, 2010 , 1 min Read

With the increasing popularity of netbooks its only natural that we see application stores for Netbooks just like we have app stores for cell phones and iPhones. Intel's AppUp center makes it easy for the end user to browse through and download apps for the atom notebook. This is a great opportunity for developers as well who can monetize from their applications.

The app store Beta version comes preinstalled on Atom netbooks from Samsung, ASUS and Acer, but will also be available for download for Windows and Linux. Intel's been working with over 3,000 devs, but there should be even more apps on the way. You will need to create an account to access the store even if you download the client.
