Road Show to give due importance to entrepreneurship in Nagaland

Mokokchung, April 9 (DIPR): Buoyed by the success of Nagaland Road Show 2009, the state government has decided to continue the massive Road Show during the current year from May. The Road Show 2010 will start from Mokokchung coinciding with the celebration of Moatsu festival in the first week of May. This year Road Show will give due importance on entrepreneurship as the state government declared 2010 as the ‘Year of Entrepreneurship’.
Additional Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner, Alemtemshi, accompanied by two other senior officers from Kohima had a meeting with Head of Offices and representatives of NGOs of Mokokchung town led by Deputy commissioner, Mokokchung, C.M. Tsanglao in the DC’s conference hall on April 9, 2010.
In his address, Alemtemshi said Road Show 2010 which will begin at Mokokchung town would focus on promotion of Moatsu festival to make it a tourism event, promotion of entrepreneurship and tourism. During the road show an interactive session on entrepreneurship would be held to promote enterprises in Agri and allied, services and tourism sectors. To host the Road show in a befitting manner various committees have been set up.
Chairman, NIDC & Nagaland Hotels Corporation & Chairman of the Mokokchung DPDB, Nuklutoshi MLA who also attended the meeting called upon Heads of offices and NGOs to understand the philosophy behind the massive road show programme. He said that idea is to give maximum benefit to the people and uplift their living.
