Rohini Fernandes and Radhika Nair

Rohini Fernandes and Radhika Nair run Animal Angels Foundation,a Mumbai based organization. This is the first organization in India working in the field of animal-assisted therapy.They are both clinical psychologists, certified practitioners of animal-assisted therapy and professional dog trainers. They work along with specially trained therapy pets who assist them in helping children and adults learn or improve various skills and in speeding up the recovery process.

Rohini and Radhika have been practicing animal-assisted therapy since the past five years in various schools, orphanages, rehabilitation centers, day care centers, old age homes and organizations that work with children or adults with developmental disabilities, emotional problems, mental and physical illnesses. Their main objective has always been to enhance the quality of people Œs lives through their therapy animals.
