Sunday May 30, 2010 , 2 min Read

Mumbai, 28th May, 2010: The evening saw young Barbie fans flocking at the Barbie I Can Be event as famous television actor Mouni Roy and child actor Swini Khara unveiled the glamorous and flashy Barbie hair accessories range at Inorbit Mall, Malad. While the Barbie® brand’s roots are as a fashion doll, in last 50 years Barbie has grown into a fashion and lifestyle brand, spanning more than 45 different consumer product categories. Like any true fashion house, Barbie has had a namesake fragrance, a cosmetics line and tons of fun, fashionable licensed products; the newly launched hair accessories being the latest in her kitty.

Speaking on the occasion Mouni Roy said, “Barbie has always been seen as a trendsetter among young girls. From late 60s to the early 90s, her ensemble along with her accessories has been the rage across the world. With newly launched Barbie hair accessories girls can have more fun and give perfect finishing touch to a hair style or outfit.”

Speaking on the occasion Swini Khara said, “Barbie has always been a fashion mentor whose style mantra is followed by millions of girls. I’m looking forward to style my hair with newly launched Barbie hair accessories and try different fashion styles without even stepping out of my home”.
