Meet Vishal Mehta, Founder of Infibeam.com, India’s largest ecommerce portal who’s latest offering the Infibeam Pi is India’s first electronic book reader. Allowing users to download books, newspapers and blogs in 13 Indian languages Infibeam Pi offers a reading experience similar to that of a physical book. Three years into the business Infibeam.com today has more than 5 lakh customers with an online selection of more than 60 lakh unique products across 40 product categories and plans to gross revenues of more than Rs 100 Cr by the end of this year.
Also catch Siddharth Banerjee, Founder of Indusgeeks Solutions - India’s first and largest Virtual Worlds development company. Started in 2007 Indusgeeks Solutions create 3D spaces on the internet for education, training, marketing and communications. Looking at doing revenues of Rs 2.5 Cr this year Siddharth now has his eyes set on the gaming and e learning business.
And meet Aswin Chandrasekaran who is making every voice heard through his venture Invention Labs, an IIT Chennai spin off. His innovation Avaaz is an alternative communication device that allows people with speech disabilities to interact and express themselves. The Avaz console today has been deployed in 7 special schools across 4 states in India and Aswin is now looking to sell 1000 units this year and also take the innovation overseas.
