Jatin Singh

Meet Jatin Singh, Founder of India’s first private weather forecasting firm, Skymet. Providing weather updates to farmers, power companies, Nokia and Reuters, Skymet has grossed a turnover of Rs 2 Cr in FY10.

Also catch Anil Bahuman of Agrocom Software Technologies, who helps connect farmers to agri-experts through 24x7 helpline. Today Agricom reaches out to more than 2 lakh farmers across 15 states and is looking at a turnover of Rs 5 Cr by 2012.

And meet Yogesh Patil who is spearheading the Crop and Weather Intelligence Group at the National Collateral Management Services, an agri weather risk management firm. Today the venture has over 800 weather stations across 16 states in India. NCMSL has a turnover of Rs 4 Cr and Yogesh plans to make it a one stop shop for all weather risk management services by 2013.
