Meet Shashi Reddi founder of India’s largest game development venture FX Labs. Started in 2004 as an outsourcing company designing console games for global gaming giants, today FX Labs has developed original IP on social gaming and advergaming platform. Having grossed revenues of over Rs 200 Cr Shashi has now turned VC with his venture Sri Capital. An advisor with the Wharton Entrepreneurial Center, Shashi mentors 7 early stage tech start ups in India and US and the venture made investments over Rs 12 Cr last year.
Catch Sangam Gupta who is designing gen next games for your console. His venture Trine Entertainment launched in 2006 is India’s only gaming venture that makes games for your Sony Playstation and Microsoft Xbox and the Nintendo Wii. The venture already has 7 labels and has in its portfolio multimillion dollar gaming franchisees like Gothic and the Guild 2 series. A Rs 20 Cr venture today Trine Entertainment is now set to launch on to social and mobile gaming platform. Sangam also plans to set-up a Games Academy next year to create a talent pool of game developers in India.
And meet Sanyam Jain who has taken his passion for animation into design and architecture.His venture orange 3d studio creates 3D and 2D animations and simulations of real world spaces that are used for architecture, planning and even security services. Started in 2001 today the venture has worked on Metro projects for cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata and has even designed the animation model of the Indian Parliament for security agencies.
