Prashant Choksey is the Executive Director at the Choksey group of companies which has interests in Real estate, Construction, Entertainment, Venture Capital and Manufacturing. He is the Chief Executive of Choksey Constructions, a real estate development company with a focus on mass housing. The company is currently working on a number of pilot projects on mass housing along with leading global and domestic Financial Institutions and Consulting Firms to explore innovative developmental solutions, Design , Technology and business models.

Prashant Choksey is the Vice-Chairman of Colortek which is a liquid colorants company catering to plastic industry. He is also an Executive Director at Choksey Chemicals – a leading manufacturer of construction chemicals in India and Hindustan Mineral Products Company which is engaged in processing and marketing of natural minerals.Prashant has and invested in a number of start-ups in the area of technology, Internet, media and entertainment since mid-1990's. He is a Co-founder of the Mumbai Angels which funds and advises seed stage startups. He is the Co-founder of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO), India Chapter. EO is a global community of business owners who run companies that exceed $1M (US) in revenue.Prashant holds engineering in Applied Mechanics from University of California. He has also completed executive management programmes from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India and Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA.
