The Founder Showcase, Silicon Valley's premier startup pitch and networking event, is taking applications to its free Pitch Competition for a chance to present on stage at the event. Any seed or early-stage company less than 2 years old and with less than $500,000 in funding is invited to apply. The deadline to gather votes is October 10, so apply today. Over $1.5mm has been raised from presenting companies by investors they met at previous Founder Showcase events.
This quarterly event brings together over 300 investors, founders, and members of the press in Silicon Valley for one action-packed night to network, hear talks from leading CEOs, and help launch a start-up company to greatness. The 5th Founder Showcase on October 21st will feature "Super Angel" pioneer and early investor in Twitter and Digg, Mike Maples Jr., as the keynote speaker. Maples will also join a panel of investors who will provide critical feedback of the pitches and help determine the Grand Prize Winner - who gets cash, free services, and valuable exposure to Silicon Valley.
The Pitch Competition is free to enter, and event tickets start at just $40. YourStory readers get 15% off using the discount code yourstory. To purchase a demo table, tickets, or to apply to the competition, go to www.FounderShowcase.com.
