Nurture Talent Academy, (www.nurturetalent.com), India's 1st institute for training entrepreneurs today announced its new initiative for encouraging entrepreneurship among students across the country. With over 2000 management colleges and more than 3000 engineering colleges, along with several institutes for higher education like medicine, hotel management etc. Indian education is booming with activity. And leading the brigade of India's education are young students who have the ambition to create and give jobs, rather than join the corporate rat race. To support all such enthusiastic students, Nurture Talent Academy has launched its workshop specifically for students.
Speaking at the occasion, Amit Grover, Founder of Nurture Talent Academy, said, "Entrepreneurs can be trained. And with this basic hypothesis, we have embarked on the journey of cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit of young students across the country. We have a firm belief that young college students will power the next revolution across India."
Nurture Talent Academy conducts a unique "Idea to Execution" workshop for students. During the workshop, students learn fundamentals of business, how to generate ideas, how to create business plans, and also angel investments and venture capital.
Further emphasizing the need for entrepreneurial education in a global academy, Amit told us, "For generations, we have been teaching our students how to manage a large company or how to work for other organizations. It is time now to change that mindset, and inspire our youth to start their own ventures early on in their life." The biggest constraints towards this are individuals fear, society and family pressures, and financial issues like education loan etc. Nurture Talent Academy aims to provide training on entrepreneurial aspects like finance, marketing, business plan, how to setup a company etc. so that students are more confident about taking their own decisions to start a company.
The program has already been conducted across top institutes like IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, MNNIT Allahabad and IIT Ropar. The next schedule is for Thapar University, Patiala (23rd October) and AIIIT Gwalior (24th October). The plan is to cover 100 colleges with this program over next 3-5 years.
