KG Subramanian Joins Nexus Venture Partners as CFO

Mumbai, India, November 15, 2010 – Nexus Venture Partners, India’s leading venture capital firm, today announced the appointment of KG Subramanian, 39, as Chief Financial Officer. KGS will be based in the Mumbai office.
Previously, KGS was Sr Vice President-Finance & Operations at Kotak Mahindra Investments Ltd., a leading Non Banking Finance Company. KGS was also the Chief Compliance Officer of the company and member of various management committees like the Asset Liability Committee, Risk Management Committee and Operating Committee. He has played senior roles in accounting, treasury and other finance functions in his 14 year stint at $8 billion+ Kotak Group, a leading financial services player in India. At Kotak, he was also associated with Business Standard Ltd, a leading financial newspaper publisher and media house for 5 years, where he played a key role in improving the operational and financial discipline of the company. Earlier, KGS worked with Ashok Leyland Finance Ltd.
