Roundtable on the sidelines of the NASSCOM Product Conclave
In yet another startup support endeavor, YourStory is hosting Sramana Mitra’s 1M/1M roundtable live in Bangalore on November 9, 2010 on the sidelines of the NASSCOM Product Conclave.
Sramana Mitra holds a weekly (Thursdays, 2030 hrs IST) strategy roundtable for entrepreneurs online for an hour. Connecting through a video conference to different parts of the world, she listens to three to five pitches lasting three minutes each and gives strategy advice for two minutes. The roundtable is not one-to-one and registered audience listen to both pitches and Sramana’s advice.
Sramana is co-chairing the NASSCOM Product Conclave theme on lean startups. She is going to be in Bangalore for the event. She is conducting a workshop on lean startups at 5:30 pm on 9 November. Check out the Product Conclave agenda here.
On the sidelines of the Product Conclave, Sramana will listen to pitches from entrepreneurs live on the conclave venue on November 9, 2010 at 6:30 pm. This is a free event. Five to six pitches will be featured in front of an audience and Sramana will interact with the audience after the pitches. Two expert entrepreneurs, Suresh Sambandam of OrangeScape and Dorai Thodla of iMorph, will share their experiences of meeting Sramana in the course of the roundtable. Both these product tech entrepreneurs mentor a lot of upcoming entrepreneurs.
Program:
6-30 pm: Introduction of Sramana Mitra by Shradha Sharma, founder, YourStory
6-35 pm: Discussions featuring Suresh Sambandam and Dorai Thodla with Sramana Mitra moderated by Shradha
6-45 pm: Five to six pitches and Sramana’s strategy advice
7-15 pm: Interaction with audience
7-30 pm: Vote of thanks
Registration for pitches
Entrepreneurs wishing to pitch to Sramana are requested to register for the pitches through the email [email protected] mentioning “YourStory’s Sramana Mitra 1M/1M live roundtable: Pitch” in the subject line. Pitches should meet the Clarify My Story criteria recommended by Sramana. They will be screened by an expert group before being finalized. The pitches should be of three minutes duration.
The mail should contain details of the entrepreneur, the business to be pitched, contact details such as the email and mobile. Also if the presentation is ready, please attach it with the mail. The presentation should reach YourStory on or before 12 pm (noon) on November 8, 2010. They will be screened and the participants will be intimated by 6 pm on November 8, 2010.
