Regional Roundtables in four cities before the Grand Finale at Bangalore
Indian technology terrain is getting wider. Product technology is getting bigger and the latest buzzword is cloud computing. Mobile space is exploding with mobile apps for smart phones whereas Web 2.0 is presenting enormous opportunities.
Encouraged by the grand success of Microsoft Canaan Partners TechSparks 2010, YourStory has embarked upon this annual event on a larger scale and wider format this year. TechSparks 2011, supported by Sequoia Capital and Google, will start with a regional roundtable (an invite-only event consisting of a keynote speech and a panel discussion followed by an open-floor discussion between the panelists and the entrepreneurs) at New Delhi on 7th of May at the IIT Delhi campus.
Three more roundtables will be organized at Cochin, Chennai, and Mumbai on 24 May, 11 June, and 21 June 2011, respectively. The TechSparks 2011 will culminate in a grand finale at Bangalore in August 2011.
Realizing the technological landscape that is fast expanding into different areas, this year’s TechSparks will be from product tech, cloud computing, Web 2.0, and mobile VAS domains. We realize that technology in India is a sum total of incessant activity in these domains. Startups in these arenas are capable of growing bigger and make a dent in their respective landscapes. It is YourStory’s endeavour to recognize the emerging stars, the promising people behind these start-ups, and also budding superstars of Indian technology startup space by exposing them to wider opportunities by way of meaningful networking opportunities, interacting with investors, and also expand their way into new markets using YourStory’s network.
It is a very relevant platform for you, if you are a tech startup. A must-attend event. For your invitations to regional roundtables, register your startup @ www.techsparks.in.
