Everyone of us live with dreams all throughout our lives. It is the hope of achieving a dream which drives us everyday. Ever imagined that you could get your wishes heard and fulfilled with concern?A concept, very much useful to the mankind thereby was materialized as Wish Upon a Hero, a website which allows anyone to post their wishes. Globally called “CrowdSourcing” is making waves on the web. Once you register, your wishes can be posted regardless of the intent. It is upto the community members to be prudent in helping the needy.

It all started wayback in the year 2007, but has got a great amount of positive response. Wish Upon a Hero reports that over 77,000 wishes have been granted till date. Some of the wishes fulfilled were “paying for a leukemia patient’s wedding”,” a refrigerator donated to a single mom with a new born baby by an appliance retailer”, buying uniforms for a local little league team, a group of talented young guys helping a homeless person and a plastic surgeon saving the life of a person with breast cancer.

Even though many of the wishes had a financial seek in it, there was more of uniting like minded people. For example, one can act in a movie by investing a lot of money or by just exposing one’s talent to the director and producer by getting a chance to interact with them.

The list of searches is open to everybody. There are sections even such as “need”,”want”,”disabilities”,”cause supported” and many more.People who are interested to help the needy can either be anonymous or expose their identity on the website.
