Applications for Social Transformers Are Now Open

Social Transformers 2011 is a platform to nurture and promote tomorrow's potential change-makers within the student community, presented by VIT University’s Centre for Social Entrepreneurship Development [CSED].Social Transformers 2011 will allow participants to showcase their solutions to any of society’s most pressing problems to a panel of renowned judges. All the qualifying teams are interfaced with mentors, who shall work closely with them on their social business plans before the grand finale. The winning teams will receive a seed fund of INR 50,000, an opportunity to incubate their idea with CSED-VIT and a chance to connect with a large network of people, resources, experts and advisors.

Applications are now open for the event which will be held during the University’s annual technical festival “GraVITas” between the 16th and 18th of September, 2011. Applications for Social Transformers are open till the 4th of September.
