Hyderabad registered cloud startup GlobalOutlook, with offices in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Dallas, today announced that they received USD 2 million funding from Naya Ventures.

The funds shall be used for marketing & expansion to Middle East, UK and US markets. They are looking to hire for sales and support roles to be based in Hyderabad.

Speaking about the investment, Dayakar Puskoor, founder and CEO said, “Naya Ventures solely invests in mobile, cloud and social media startups. They bring in unique expertise on-board.”

“Last year, we doubled the team size and since the past three years we have seen 200 - 250% growth in terms of revenue YoY. We aim to keep that momentum going.”

GlobalOutlook currently has over 10,000 business users, and plans to increase the user base to 40,000 by the end of this year. 75% of the customer base is from India as of now.

GlobalOutlook is the first company to offer White Label Hosted Mail, Sharepoint, Office Communication Services and Blackberry Enterprise Server Services in India. With India’s SaaS market estimated to be worth $352 million by end of 2012, it would be interesting to track how GlobalOutlook scales to tap this market.
