Now an Indian startup, NamasteHollywood.com, plans to become the one-stop shop for our ‘Hollywood Fix’. This website will cover complete information on Hollywood movies and all action related to Hollywood in India.
Speaking about how the idea to start this website came about, Saurabh Yadav, Co-founder, NamasteHollywood.com says, “There is an upsurge of Hollywood enthusiasts in India who very frequently fish online for latest Hollywood entertainment, and though there are movie related websites, but none of them is comprehensive enough in the information they provide about Hollywood entertainment across various platforms in India.”
On the site fans can access all the information they want on Hollywood movies across different platforms like Theatre, TV and DVD. “India is now one of the biggest markets for Hollywood, the response to English movies strongly illustrates the growing audience for this segment, which has better access thanks to the growth of multiplexes across India,” said Atul Gupta, Co-founder. “NamasteHollywood.com is also a platform for movie production houses to publish their contents,” added Atul.
The website was launched in December and in less than 2 months has got a lot of traction. “What’s more heartening is the industry response. We have spoken to more than a couple of industry veterans and senior executives from major production houses and Hollywood broadcasters. They are all upbeat about the promise that NamasteHollywood.com holds and are keenly interested in the development of the product,” informed Saurabh.
NamasteHollywood.com has entered the market the correct time. The Indian market has become a major one for Hollywood movies and the audiences’ interest in information and content is at its peak.
