Empresario 2.0, the Entrepreneurship Summit, the sequel to Empresario conducted by The Daniels in 2011 is scheduled to be held on September 1, 2012. Daniels’ (meaning ‘the wise people’) was founded in 1995 as a platform for self improvement for all those who have been its members. With prior experience in offering different events as platforms for expression, Empresario is also an attempt at pursuing this zeal to self improvement. Empresario 2011 saw a participation of over 50 teams for the first round from some of the biggest colleges of the country including IIT’s, PEC, Thapar University, SRCC, LSR and many others. Venture Capitalists such as Nurture Talent Academy and Climate Connect judged the event meticulously looking at all the B-plans presented. With their motto being ‘Facile Princeps’ (meaning ‘indisputably the first), this year's Empresario is focuses on offering higherWith a cash prize offering of Rs. 40,000/-, Empresario 2.0 promises to be bigger and better than its precedent. This year, Empressio looks forward to take a step ahead with better teams, better judges and better facilitations for all involved.

The summit shall be a one day event with two stages:

1. The B-plan Presentation- The participating teams shall present their Business plans, market analysis and feasibility study of their plan in front of the judges

2. Case-study Analysis- In this stage, the teams will brainstorm on the problem faced by the event’s CaseStudy Partner and bring about a feasible solution to the problem.

The team with an aggregate best of both the stages shall take away the cash prize and a scholarship by their VC judge.
