Have an idea, but don't know how to commercialize it? Are you one of those who dream of being their own boss, but end up being like everyone else for that lack of guidance? Well, for all those of you out there, your dreams are about to come true!Keeping the tradition of enthusing the nation's enterprising thinking minds E-Cell, IIT-Bombay has announced Illuminate! - a series of inclusive, continuum oriented business plan workshops in various cities across the nation over the span of next five weeks finally culminating into E-Cell IIT Bombay's annual Business Plan competition Eureka!

The workshop series is aimed at spreading awareness about entrepreneurship among students and young professionals and equip them with the skills, tools and advice to help them realize their entrepreneurial ambitions.

The workshops will be focused on Business Plan writing skills and techniques. They will include the intricacies of going from an idea to a full-fledged successful enterprise. These highly interactive sessions will include case-studies, analysis, samples, presentations and discussions and will be led by Mr Shantanu Bhagwat of Udhbav Associates who is a noted Diplomat, Venture Investor and Entrepreneur.

The workshop will be heavily interactive and will include cases, analysis, presentation and discussions.

In this one-day workshop Mr. Shantanu Bhagwat will share his thoughts, tips and suggestions on entrepreneurship and starting on your own. The workshop will help you ask questions about your business (and innovative ideas) and test them against the harsh filters that VCs use

Workshop outline:

· Insights into entrepreneurship, challenges in starting a business

· Key requirements for starting up

· B-Plan training How to make an effective B-plan

· Most common mistakes made by Entrepreneurs

· Case studies of start ups in India/abroad

The workshops are planned to be held at more than a dozen cities including Pune, Bengaluru, Manipal, Indore, Chandigarh, and Delhi among many others.

Ahmedabad, 8th October(Mon)

The dates for Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam workshops are yet to be out.
