Video Recruit receives Funding of 3 Million Euros

Serial investor Jaideep Venugopal today announced investment in Video Recruit, an online service providing a platform that allows recruiters to invite candidates to record an automated and spontaneous video interview. The venture has seen a total investment of 3 million Euros, which also includes investment from Annabelle Diamantino, Philip Staehelin and Tomas Tomiczek from Pargue.

According to Video Recruit, this investment will be used to start India Operations.Video Recruit is a global company with operational

and technology headquarters based in Prague, Czech Republic.Commenting on the investment, Jaideep venugopal said“Recruiters now do not have to sit through interviews where after a couple of minutes you know that candidate is unsuitable. Further, with the ability to review the videos at their convenience, whenever and wherever they are and on internet connected device, the recruiters will find the tool to deliver significant time and cost savings, besides increasing the speed and quality of hire. Needless to say there is a huge scalability factor in Video Recruit’s business model.”

Video Recruit helps recruiters to cut time involved in scanning through resumes, interview scheduling challenges while offering the ability to review videos.Video Recruit also provides companies with a white label, and professional recruiting tool at a cost for each successfully recorded video.
