Reado Audiobooks today signed an audiobooks deal with leading audiobook publisher Simon & Schuster Audio.The deal entitles Reado to distribute & sell 2000 audiobooks produced by Simon & Schuster Audio in India in digital (MP3) format that can be downloaded from Reado’s website. Popular categories such as bestselling fiction, nonfiction, business, self-improvement, inspiration, language learning programs, original audiobook productions, and children’s

titles will be made available to an Indian Audience.On partnering with Simon & Schuster Audio, founder of Reado Audiobooks, Sumit Suneja said “We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Simon& Schuster Audio. This partnership makes us the biggest audiobooks brand in the Indian market which is a milestone for us. We are rapidly expanding and reaching out to a larger audience and we expect to see an increase of 50 – 60% in the audiobooks sales for us in the next two quarters. In addition to the above, I believe that audiobooks market in India itself will grow at 200% rate in the next 5 years, expected to be a $600 million dollar global industry. We have partnered with some of the best names in the publishing industry including Penguin, Hachette, Audibles.com amongst others to introduce as many genres as possible for our listeners.”
