Tyche'd Rebrands to Wishberg; Aims to build Social Graph for Product & Purchase Intents [Public Beta Launch]
Wishberg enables users to discover and share purchase intents, experiences and reviews within their social circle. The platform focuses on high involvement categories like Travel, Cars, Bikes, Gadgets, Electronics and Real Estate. Wishberg is extension to the earlier product Tyche'd. The company aims to build Social Graph for Product & Purchase Intents.
"We want to provide one-click experience for consumers for every purchase intent that is shared on Wishberg. The platform discovers users from their Social Graph with similar intents, users who have already completed that intent and bring up relevant social reviews and experiences," says Pravin Jadhav, Founder at Wishberg.
Post alpha stage, Wishberg has enhanced its product design & user experience. It has introduced one click registration, built a recommendation engine for first time users that suggests products to users based either on their social graph, location or both. A real time activity stream is introduced for users to discover actions in their own social graph and engage further.
“Tyche'd users have been migrated to Wishberg. We're not pivoting, but rebranding and moving towards a larger vision. Wishberg currently features local information for over 200+ cities across 12 countries. We will be adding Hong Kong, Ireland and Israel to this list in the coming week.” added Kulin Shah, Co-founder at Wishberg.
Wishberg debuted its alpha version in July 2012. The Mumbai based startup is now a 8 member strong team led by Pravin Jadhav, ex-Product & Marketing Head at advertising technology venture - Ohana Media; and Kulin Shah, ex-Senior Investment Manager at Reliance Venture Asset Management, venture capital arm of Reliance ADAG.
