With competition in the flat landscape of the Ad network industry intensifying, many of them are looking at emerging markets to capitalize on and riding on a $6.3 Million dollar investment from Sequoia Capital and Canaan Partners, AdNear a leader in the space, is quite well equipped to do so.

“Most of today’s smartphone usage in India is coming from messaging apps and there is a growing category of news apps that are coming through. I would say that there is a good opportunity if you are looking at localized news content for the Indian region at least. As far as discoverability is concerned, I think there are enough ways of advertising and branding which will give your app enough visibility.”
