Vserv annual report - 256 billion ad requests, 3x growth and more

In an annual report for the 2012 financial year, Vserv.mobi, the mobile ad-network, has reported a total of 256 billion ad request in this year alone. This year has been a busy year for the company, which has released new products, tied up with telecom players and have conducted many events including hackathons and stalls at international trade shows like MWC.

Here are some interesting trends that have been showcased in an infographic by Vserv -

• Number of WAP ad request has reduced by nine percent and App ad request went up by nine percent. Both requests have growth by 3 times since March 2012. 
• As expected, Vserv recorded most growth in India - 33%
• Of the 256 Billion requests, 62% came from feature phones. Vserv Ad Wrapper is said to be used on about 20000 apps.
