JIM — The Indian startup space is abuzz with talks about design and how a startup should focus more on design than anything else. And we're not talking about how your site looks. Design is about how you structure your product, how it is laid out and the entire thinking process that goes behind making a world class proposition.

And, we all know how Silicon Valley has been a pioneer and a master of this art. Based in the valley, Jim Nieters has been involved with UX design for almost two decades and is an expert in the field.

Under his direction, teams have designed Cisco telepresence, Yahoo advertising platforms and next-generation travel experiences at HP (among others). He has been an adviser to multiple startups throughout his career and still actively engages himself with startups like Nor1 and Always on Vacation.

And as fate would have it, Jim is coming to the Silicon Valley of India and we at YourStory take the pride in announcing a presentation from and discussion with him.

Jim will spend the first hour presenting his strategies for leveraging design to help your business pivot rapidly to respond successfully to market trends by leveraging design thinking techniques. For the second hour, he would answer questions on specific challenges in design, design thinking, and innovation.
