Online video advertiser Vdopia joins hands with ICC Champions Trophy, becomes exclusive online partner
Vdopia, an online and mobile video advertising platform provider recently announced its partnership with ICC for the ongoing Champions Trophy 2013. Vdopia provides advertisers the platform to advertise video content on mobile phones and the venture claims to be the first video ad network that has managed to monetize online video content effectively.
Through this partnership, Vdopia will be the exclusive online partner for ICC official website www.icc-cricket.com. All brands would have to route their advertising through Vdopia to be done on the ICC website. This is the official ICC website for all updates and news on the international cricket arena which includes news, fixtures, team information, rankings, exclusive videos, a live match centre, photos and various other fan engagement activations and tools. Shivam Shrivastava, director - business development, APAC, Vdopia Inc says: “we are expecting 50 million page views through the duration of the event. 50% traffic would be from India.” A likely number of close to 100 million impressions will be available on ad units like pre roll, banner and logo slots.
Vdopia also has some room for playing customized content on the site during the event and Shivam says they can offer good share-of-voice to brands who come aboard. Apart from regular ICC partners like Reliance, LG & Samsung, Shivam says three more brands have confirmed their participation, without giving any names.The ICC Champions Trophy 2013 started on June 6 and will go on till June 23. Vdopia is founded by Stanford and IIT graduates Srikanth Kakani & Chhavi Upadhyay with extensive experience in Industry leading Silicon Valley companies.
