Introducing TechSparks Delhi 2013 Speaker: Amit Ranjan, Co-Founder, SlideShare

TechSparks is the flagship event of YourStory that is a recognition platform for technology product startups in India. In its 4th edition now, TechSparks is a multi city event which is now coming to Delhi after going to Kochi, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

The event is scheduled for July 13, 2013 at the India Habitat Centre and we’ve got a a stellar lineup of speakers for the half day event. Deep Kalra is one of the speakers and next in this amazing line of experienced and seasoned entrepreneurs is Amit Ranjan.Amit Ranjan is currently the Director of Operations at SlideShare (company got acquired by LinkedIn). Amit co-founded SlideShare in 2006 and scaled it to a global scale internet company before selling out to LinkedIn. Post acquisition, efforts are on the front of tighter integgration between the two applications.

Prior to SlideShare, Amit had a career in sales & marketing in the consumer goods industry. He has worked with PepsiCo, Asian Piants and Godrej & Boyce in various roles.

Now a seasoned entrepreneur, Amit speaks frequently at conferences about technology, entrepreneurship, social web and product management. At TechSparks 2013 Delhi leg of the event, Amit will be delivering a half an hour long talk on how he built SlideShare over the years.
