TechSparks 2013 will enthral the Delhi startup community this July 13th
During the middle of any year, if you ask a Delhi-ite as to what’s on their mind? They’d say, “The Heat!” Temperatures are definitely soaring but we’d like to believe that a part of it is emanating from the energy that the startups of the region exude. The capital city of India has always been a buzzing hub for startups and we have seen some really smart and innovative ideas coming out of Delhi everytime we make the trip northwards from Bangalore.
With a sound corporate exposure, many senior entrepreneurs in & from the city and with the financial prudence of Delhi entrepreneurs, they are known for their good revenue generation capabilities. In the first quarter of 2013, large ticket sizes of capital were poured in with a total of 12 deals summing to $ 52 million being invested in startups from Delhi (and this is just the disclosed amount). We visit Delhi every year with TechSparks and last year, Gamooz, Hazel Media and Virinchi Software were the startups that grabbed their places in Tech30.
This year, the 4th edition of TechSparks – India’s largest technology startup discovery platform, will be the ground to meet, engage and learn from the best of the entrepreneurs, investors and experts.
