Being in the sector for a long time, the duo realized the need for skilled people in this field and hence thought of starting up to train more professionals. They started up from Bangalore and there initial few requests came from Mumbai which led them to take the online route and hence came into existence Jigsaw Academy.

Jigsaw Academy is a learning academy that provides industry-relevant training and education in the field of analytics to develop business-ready professionals. A team of 15 at the moment, Jigsaw has courses for individuals as well as for corporates. These courses are a blend of statistics, statistical tools and industry knowledge through real life examples. Along with the data scientist certification, there is a foundation course and other courses in Retail Analytics, Financial Analytics and Analytics with R. The courses are priced at around INR 20,000 and Jigsaw has trained more than 5000 people till now. 90% of their revenues come from the B2C side.

Apart from the 15 people, Jigsaw Academy has a large pool of analytics experts who develop content for them. “We believe online learning will change the face of education and being part of this revolution is what excites and motivates us,” say the founders about starting up.

Future plan is to continue to grow our offerings, keep our curriculum up to date, and increase our global student base because we see the demand for analytics being a global phenomenon. We also plan to continue to provide industry relevant trainings, globally and to focus more on the MBA colleges as we feel MBAs need these skills.
