Search engine has been synonymous with Internet, be it general query, shopping, food and nightlife we tend to Google out everything. While search engine such as Google, Bing etc are horizontal search engine, New Delhi based Tour Infoline takes a vertical approach – search engine for travellers looking for holiday information.
Tourinfoline enables travellers to discover, plan holidays and share experiences gathered during the trip. The Startup offers exclusive travel deals throughout the year. At present it offers tour packages in Rajasthan, Goa and Delhi across properties like Pushkar Resort and Leela Kempinski. Tour Infoline aggregates details including price, tour duration, offered services and user generated review. The platform also allows travellers to search and book flights/hotels.
Speaking to Yourstory about thoughts behind the venture Sunil Singh, co-founder, Tour Infoline said, “Our love for travel has inspired us to create an interactive platform, for users and service providers so that each one gets mutual benefit from each other. Our main aim is to provide a user rich content, which will allow everyone to plan their travel in better way.” Apart from traveller community the platform offers free listing for travel and tourism industry, hoteliers, restaurant owners and event organizers.
Travellers can also plan their customized booking by putting details like destination, budget, tentative date with their personnel credentials (email id, phone number etc.). In addition to that anyone can get registered with website and create their profile, save their favorite hotels, restaurant, locations etc. Tour Infoline charges businesses (travel agents, hotel and OTAs)) on every conversion via lead routed by it. “In coming weeks, we will be adding around 30-40 holiday packages and hotels,” added Singh.
Founded by Sunil and Saurabh Singh presently Tour Infoline has 12 people team and looking to hire some more people on business development side. So far the company is being bootstrapped by founders, however it is looking to raise angel investment to spruce technology, partnership and marketing. “In future the company plans to add international holiday packages and hotels.” concluded Singh.
