What's the idea and motivation behind Blueprint?
At Blueprint we say - There is an elegance in simplicity and we at Blueprint strive to achieve that. We want our designs to have clean silhouettes and that are chic and modern. We at blueprint believe in combining elements like print on print, traditional with contemporary which help us the best of both.
Take us through the designs and product line Blueprint offers.
Blueprint is a fashion house that defines cosmopolitan glamour - blend of classic sophistication and urban luxury. Looks that one cant wait to show off from the prêt-à-porter line of women's and men's wear and custom wear. Our collections are a mix of modern silhouettes and bright traditional prints and colors. Its the perfect balance between traditional and contemporary.
How has been the traction so far in terms of orders and which payment modes Bluprint extends to its consumers?
We have a very good clientele that appreciates our work. They are now more open to bold colors and prints. We also get a lot of custom orders for special occasions where the clients would want anything from a lehenga to an evening gown. Mode of payment so far have been cash and bank transfers.
From where Blueprint sources fabric and prints?
The Blueprint team consists of a set of skilled tailors who bring our designs to life. We source our fabrics from various stores in Chennai, mostly traditional prints, and also some from San Francisco US, when we are out for fabric hunting and come across something unique. I make frequent trips there to visit Navya. For our Spring/Summer 2013 collection, we used the concept of digital printing. For this collection we purchased and printed the fabrics from Delhi.
