If you're a startup enthusiast in Delhi, TechSparks is the thing for you today!
TechSparks is YourStory's flagship event- India's largest entrepreneurial summit which is into its fifth edition this year! The multi-city event has already been to Bangalore and Pune and today, it is time for the startup enthusiasts in NCR (National Capital Region) to get together. The regional edition of TechSparks is home to workshops, talks, networking and the Tech Bazaar. The event starts at 12.30 PM (yes, we know you work late in the nights and it's hard to get out of bed before noon) and first up, you'll meet the energetic startups at the Tech Bazaar, here are some of the companies that'll be there:
1) TagNPin: The company lets you launch customer referral programs in minutes. They are already used by 2500+ customers including the Times Group.
2) WeDoSky: Yes, drones are definitely creating a buzz and We Do Sky will be bringing along their unmanned aerial vehicles at the event.
3) Targeting Mantra: It is the one-stop solution for the personalization and targeting needs of e-commerce, media and other online businesses.
4) Squadrun: SquadRun App is a game that offers its players real missions with real rewards.
5) Magictap Solutions: They bring rich media solutions from the offline real world to the online virtual world, leveraging the smart phone users with NFC (near field communication) to drive Revenue, Traffic, Brand Awareness and Social Engagement.
After an hour worth of networking over some tea, the event will dive into one of the biggest attraction: Delhivery!
Suraj Saharan, Co-founder of Delhivery with talk about building the backbone of e-commerce. (The company has recently raised a $35 million series C round and here's our previous coverage of the company: From five co-founders to 2500 plus employees in two years)
Next up after that is Phone Warrior: The venture funded mobile application that has an interesting journey to share with respect to mobile applications and how to build a global B2C company from India.
From 2.30 PM onwards, Sequoia Capital will take a workshop on Startup Metrics- very important for any startup pitching to investors. The entrepreneurs will get a first hand account from an investor on what metrics they're looking for. For the next half an hour, Nikunj Jain, founder of inoXapps will be talking about his experiences of building a lean startup.
After the two talks, we dive into workshops: One is on branding and marketing and the other is Design Thinking- two very key but often looked parts of a tech startup.
And to wind up the evening, we'll go into another networking session. This is what we've got in store for you. For a video glimpse, have a look at this video from our Bangalore regional round (visit the TechSparks website to register yourself):
