While everyone is busy discussing the weight loss of Anant Ambani, we want to bring to you, one crucial factor in this whole exercise-fitness trainer and body builder Vinod Channa. From a modest, Mumbai family, Vinod’s growing up years were rather testing. There were days when even one meal was difficult to come by. Vinod recalls the days when the entire family would survive on just one meal a day. He was so thin, that his friends had nicknamed him ‘sukda’ (thin and dried).
It was a blessing that he could go to a college. According to Dainik Bhaskar, during his college days, Vinod worked odd jobs to earn money. Since body building was his passion, he enrolled in a gym that charged him Rs 50 a month. While training he also took up a course for becoming a professional trainer. Vinod now has a fitness training centre by the name of VC Fitness in Khar, Mumbai.
Vinod has trained John Abraham and Shilpa Shetty to name a few. His latest success story is none other than Anant Ambani. Under Vinod’s guidance and watchful eye, Anant lost 108 kilos in less than 18 months. He has lost a staggering 108 kilos in less than 18 months. Anant’s daily exercise regimen included a 21-km walk, followed by yoga, weight training, functional training and low to high-intensity cardio exercises. Vinod made sure Anant stuck to a zero-sugar, low-carb diet along with adequate fats and proteins.
