Vishal describes Kingsman Solution as the outcome of his first venture, Genesis Financial Solutions — founded in 2009 — which was focused on providing customers with financial products, services, and customised wealth management support. They grew significantly in a short span of time owing to their high RoI.
Multiple interactions with the customers while providing financial services triggered a handful of queries related to loans, ITR filing, and financial management from individual customers and inquiries like business registration, business compliance, business restructuring, legal advisory, accounts, and payroll from businesses.
Vishal realised he was genuinely interested in answering his clients' questions, which led him to consider the possibility of a startup meant for just this purpose. By 2014, he was ready with a bucketful of wisdom and a strong network base, which led to the idea of Kingsman, a startup focused on both individuals and businesses. It helps individuals meet their financial goals and businesses meet their business goals.
The idea turned into reality in 2015, backed by a team of experts from different verticals. The objective, according to Vishal, is to provide a single platform for every business need, from the idea stage to the IPO.

The profit generated from the previous venture was sufficient to meet the needs of Kingsman. Commenting on the requirement of seed capital during the initial days, Vishal states that Kingsman, being a professional service platform, did not require a hefty amount of money to run the show.
An MBA and electronics and communications engineer, 30-year-old Vishal, like many passionate young entrepreneurs, has never looked for a job and always had a strong inclination towards starting up on his own. He says,
“I had a passion for business right from my college days. When my friends were following Bollywood or cricket I used to follow the stock market and business.”

Ensuring the quality of mentorship, Vishal says Kingsman has a team of experienced people from verticals like education, healthcare, and the technology and services industries. The objective is to mentor startups right from idea validation to the formulation of viable revenue models.
About the shortlisting mechanism, Vishal says,
“There is no strict procedure that we follow. We feel the best way to shortlist a startup is by meeting the team personally and having a one-to-one meeting with them. Their idea, strength of team, fund availability, vision, and market opportunity are the parameters on which we scrutinise them. Till now we have mentored more than 35 startups.”
Kingsman has launched an initiative called Startup Womb, which is aimed at mentoring startups that are yet to bag funding and outline clear revenue models. Under this initiative, their consultants mentor the shortlisted startups in the areas of legal advisory, financial advisory, HR and recruitment, accounts and payroll advisory, business development, and marketing.
It all starts with validating the idea, understanding their business goals, growing stagnant sales, diversification, gaining visibility in the market, increasing customer engagement, legal compliance, and more. This is followed by developing a strategy to meet their business goals. After that, solutions like management of funds, accounts, and payroll help them execute their strategies.
A team of 15 experts from various professional fields and verticals handhold the startups at every stage of the journey.
“Depending on the startup’s requirement, we give customised services and hence charge accordingly. We don’t have a one-package-fits-all kind of revenue model. As you rightly mentioned, the startup landscape is very dynamic, and we customise our services and rates according to their service requirements and growth plan. We are targeting serving more than 500 companies in the next two years,” says Vishal.
