Bengaluru-based startup Kalpnik brings all your favourite Gods to your living room by capturing live pujas and blessings on a virtual reality platform called VR Devotee. What’s interesting is that it has close to 150 temples signed up, has already raised $500,000 from angel investors. Founded by Apul Nahata, John Kuruvilla and Ashwani Garg, VR Devotee works on a model where consumers are charged money, while the temples would not be.

The company combines haptics, design, and virtual reality to build advanced simulation platforms.

Yes Madam reportedly has around 40,000 registered users, which shows the platform gets 4,500+ orders per month with a 70 percent repeat rate, and an average ticket size of Rs 1,050. Currently, Yes Madam’s app on Google Playstore has a 4.6 rating.
