Turms inducts three advisors to chart future growth strategy
The intelligent apparel brand startup Turms will seek the expertise of the advisors in three areas – R&D, new revenue channels and optimising its supply chain.
Turms, an intelligent apparel brand founded in December 2016, announced the induction of Dr Murali Sastry, CEO of IIT B-Monash Research Academy and Sanjay Modi, former MD (APAC and Middle East) at Monster.com and Sridhar Viswanathan, Managing Partner at Silver Cruste as advisors.
The induction of the three executives will help charter the company's R&D roadmap, set up new revenue channels and optimise the supply chain.
According to a release, Dr Murali Sastry will closely work with the team to establish an R&D roadmap and refine its patented technologies, while Sanjay Modi will help set up new revenue channel and commercialise Turms technology in adjacent sectors, and Sridhar Viswanathan will work closely with the management in setting up processes and systems in supply chain and quality checks for technical apparels.
Sanjay Modi and Sridhar Viswanathan have also invested in Turms.
“We are excited and humbled to welcome Dr Sastry, Sanjay, and Sridhar to help achieve our mission is to offer intelligent, functional and low maintenance apparel to the Indian consumers. In just 7 months, Turms has more than doubled its revenue and we are committed to providing the new age convenience driven shopper intelligent apparels at an affordable price,” said Rameswar Misra, CEO and Co-founder.
