OYO parent plans to launch 25 new Sunday Hotels across India
OYO parent Oravel Stays is set to launch Sunday Hotels across key travel destinations, starting with Gurugram, Manesar, and Corbett.
OYO parent Oravel Stays plans to launch 25 new Sunday Hotels by March 2025, beginning with Gurugram, Manesar, and Corbett where hotels will be established over the next two months.
The premium brand of hotels, which was originally launched in May 2023, is a joint venture between the SoftBank Group and Oravel Stays.
“This strategic move underscores OYO's commitment to strengthening its portfolio of high-quality, upscale properties, catering to discerning travellers seeking superior accommodation experiences. The addition of new properties in key markets, each carefully selected to ensure the highest standards of quality and service,” said Aditya Sharma, Business Head, Oravel Stays Private Limited.
The first Sunday Hotel opened in Jaipur in September last year, followed by Vadodara and Chandigarh.
Luxurious amenities are the hallmarks of the Sunday brand, with each hotel having spacious and furnished rooms equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, premium bedding, and well-appointed bathrooms, the company said in a statement.
Many Sunday hotels also offer additional luxuries such as in-room dining, mini-bars, and premium toiletries. The concierge service provides travel arrangements, local recommendations, and any special requests, it added.
In June this year, OYO also launched Palette Royal Reflections Hotel and Spa, its first luxury hotel in Dubai. Some other premium brands in OYO’s portfolio include OYO Townhouse and Capital O.
