Simple Energy has partnered with IDFC FIRST Bank to offer financing for its electric scooters across India. Eligible customers can access vehicle loans through the bank at Simple Energy's authorised dealerships, with the partnership aimed at simplifying the purchase process and improving access to electric mobility.
The collaboration combines IDFC FIRST Bank's financing capabilities with Simple Energy's retail network, which currently spans 73 outlets across 39 cities. The company plans to expand its presence further with new outlets in Ranchi, Bhubaneswar and other cities.
Sambhuti Learning partners with Prosical to integrate AI reading assessment
Sambhuti Learning has partnered with Prosical Language Technologies to integrate TARA, an AI-powered oral reading assessment tool developed at IIT Bombay, into its VidyaBuddhi learning platform. TARA will enable teachers to assess students' reading accuracy, fluency, pace and expression while providing data-driven insights for personalised learning and targeted interventions.
Prosical will provide API access, technical support and training, while Sambhuti will deploy the technology across its digital learning platform. The collaboration aims to help schools conduct standardised reading assessments at scale and improve foundational literacy outcomes.
Oben Electric begins deliveries of Rorr Evo motorcycle
Oben Electric has started customer deliveries of its Rorr Evo electric motorcycle after receiving more than 25,000 bookings within 15 days of its launch in May 2026. Deliveries began in Bengaluru and will expand across the company's network of more than 150 showrooms in the coming weeks.
Rorr Evo is manufactured at Oben's facility with an annual production capacity of 100,000 motorcycles. The company designs and manufactures key EV components in-house and currently operates a retail and service network across more than 90 cities in 18 states.
