Divya Jayashankar

IIM-Bangalore alumni Divya Jayashankar is the Founder of Chennai-based specialty coffee brand Beachville Coffee Roasters. The former Bain & Company Senior Associate Consultant discovered a distinct lack of South Indian Filter Coffee when she moved to New York in 2016. This, coupled with her love for coffee, sparked the inception of Mad Rush Coffee–a specialty coffee roasting company that distributed Indian coffees in New York. In 2019, Jayashankar brought a meticulous and scientific approach, coupled with her knowledge and passion for the brew back to Chennai, through Beachville Coffee Roasters. Her passion for coffee extends beyond the cup and Divya promoted education of coffee through barista interactions to understand the intricacies of grind, roast and blend.
