Giriraj Kiradoo

Giriraj Kiradoo heads Languages at YourStory. He has been an editor, a publisher, an entrepreneur, a teacher, a grassroots professional, and a writer for more than twenty years—often wearing some of these hats simultaneously. He co-founded and edited India's first multilingual, multiscript online magazine Pratilipi, and ran its print publishing arm, Pratilipi Books. He also helped Storytel India build an Indian language market for audiobooks. His career has involved running a consultancy firm, working at the grassroots in primary education, mentoring Gandhi Fellows, teaching English literature to college students, and writing a doctoral on Kalidasa’s colonial translations Giriraj is a recipient of the Krishna Baldev Vaid Fellowship and the Bharatbhooshan Agarwal Award for his creative writing.
