Manoj Kalra

Manoj Kalra is the global head of the Group Business Services of DSM. His responsibilities include managing Finance, Procurement, IT, Analytics, and HR services for DSM. With an experience spanning over 25 years, he has helmed global capability centers (GCCs) at world-class organizations and added strategic business value to drive growth. In his current role, Manoj oversees the design, development, and implementation of a global centralized operations framework. He leads large teams in matrixed environments across international locations such as Brazil, New Jersey, Netherlands, Switzerland, China, and India. He joined DSM in 2019 and has been empowering DSM businesses with best-in-class support by leveraging cutting-edge technologies. Before joining DSM, he worked with McKinsey & Company as the Director Operations and played several roles within the Finance SSC arena and the overall GIC strategy. During his 11 year stint, he transformed processes, centers, and culture moving from an office-centric entity to a global support model. His tenure included leadership stints in Poland and the Philippines. He was also part of the worldwide leadership team that oversaw the functioning of the organization’s GICs all over the world. Earlier in his career, Manoj worked with Lehman Brothers, Reuters, Agilent Technologies, Crompton Greeves, and ITI (Indian Telephone Industries). Manoj graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) degree from DAV College and later went to the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India to pursue his degree as a Chartered Accountant.
