New Delhi based Kaksha Learning is enabling children from K-12 to find joy in reading and learning by making reading fun through novels and stories. They create comprehensive and rigorous curricula for novels, short stories and other media that are deeply rooted in experiential learning. They aim to build knowledge, skills, mindsets, values and awareness and expression in students and make learning a fun and holistic process at the same time. They run online classes for students based on their curriculum and use the revenue generated to support their non-profit side which creates curriculum and gives it to educators in low-income schools for free or at subsidized rates using a pay-as-you-can model. Their Courses: Adventure Through Storyland - In this course, they are exploring and analysing 8 classic stories. Some skills they are developing: Critical thinking, Effective expression/communication, Analysing literary texts and Curiosity and imagination; Problem Solving 101 - A course to ensure your child is analysing the problems they face and trying to come up with possible solutions. Some skills they will be developing: Mindfulness, Problem-Solving and Expressing opinions; We're All Wonderful (Coming Soon) - A course where they explore 7 different stories that teach how to be self-confident and celebrate the uniqueness.
