PGROOM

PGroom is started by cousin Bobin Sarma and Binayak Sarma who themselves struggled through PG living days in their college university days in Vadodora, Gandhinagar and Bengaluru. The founders themselves went through the tough times of searching and selection process of different PGs in different cities. The major concerns for students living in these unorganised PGs is that there is unhygienically cooked food served on dirty tables. Moreover there is no proper safety checks in and around the PG infrastructure like fire safety and emergency escape systems. That's why they started the PG infrastructure they imagined in their own birthplace Guwahati so that they can replicate the successful model in different cities over the next five to six years time. The founders managed to arrange the initial seed fund from the family itself. So far, PGroom is boot strapped and has become profitable after 14 months. PGroom is in the process of leasing more independent building to expand within Guwahati city to fulfill the demands of students coming to the city from the neighbouring states of the north east. The unique feature of of all PGroom is that each room is provided with attached washroom. Gym facility is provided in each property with Veg and nonveg food. Also Ather scooters are available on demand/ on daily rent basis. Doctors are on onboarded on their panel to cater to mental & physical wellbeing of their guest. They have also onboarded ESCORT services for their guests if they prefer personal protection for attending any event in and around the city.
